Heart Skips a Beat Skipathon!

We had an amazing Skipathon on Valentines day! Our themes were ‘Healthy Hearts,’ and ‘Skip a Beat.’ We skipped to music, rhymes, solo, in groups with long ropes, in pairs, had races, knock out challenges. But most importantly we had fun exercising and raised much needed funds for P.E equipment. Huge thanks to the continuously, great support from parents and the students as well as our principal and staff.

It was not only a one day challenge this month our students are also ‘Climbing the Heights!’ whereby each class chose different mountains around Europe to climb for example Mount Olympus in Greece is 2919 metres high and one skip = 1 metre. We hope to climb many mountains and learn lots of geography too.

Thank you,
The Active School Committee
