A huge well done and thank you to all the boys from Scoil Ghormáin Naofa who took part in the after school hurling blitz. It was a great success and certainly improved their level of skill over the five weeks. We had some epic encounters between the sides and each game was very close with a throw of a dice between each team. In the end Galway Came out on top of the league with 6 points. Congratulations to Doran Daly O’ Toole, Kyle Fegan and Ross Higgins who represented Castletown on that Galway team. A huge well done to all the other boys to took part also who were, Diarmuid O Shaughnessy, Conor Fanning, Niall O’ Shaughnessy, P.J Crotty, Michael Kavanagh, Fionn Kavanagh, Joseph O’ Flaherty and Mikey Kinsella.
Also a huge thank you to all the parents for their help, encouragement and for providing lifts to the arena each week as without the support it would not be possible to run.
