Children from junior and senior infants, 1st and 2nd classes and 6th class took art in the annual music and drama festival in Arklow. All classes excelled in their relevant age groups in the category of ‘action poem’. Junior infants performed ‘I wish I was a Sailor’ by Mary Whelan and were highly commended on their performance. All children really looked the part in their lovely sailor costumes. 1st and 2nd classes performed a Gabriel Fitzmaurice poem about walking in the country.
