Two days until the big match!

That awkward moment when your teacher is Niall Breen (Tara Rocks) and he’s playing against Castletown in the intermediate hurling county final this Saturday! Luckily for Niall he has Siobhán our secretary in his corner! Thanks for putting up the bunting Jack! Up Castletown!! We love the flags on Siobhan and Mr. Breen’s cars!!* Children may wear Castletown jerseys tomorrow if they wish Pictured: Ms D’Arcy and Hannah flying the (ahem)Tara Rocks flag!! How rude!

STEAM in action!

We were so impressed by Michael’s natural flair for engineering and invention! Ms. Russell met him in the yard after school yesterday with his self designed and constructed car that really moved! He modified the wheels and we really admire this clever innovation! Keep it up Michael!

Symptoms and siblings – an important update

I sought clarification from the HSE around the apparent contradiction in their documents regarding siblings of children with symptoms and we have come to these guidelines: If your child develops symptoms in school, siblings who are apparently well will no longer need to go home with the sick child (as of 15/09/2021) If your child develops symptoms at home, we ask that you keep your other children home until a negative test is received. For those children who are self isolating as a result of a case in school, we ask that you send proof of your negative test to us by email (cns.iaswx@gmail.com) or Dojo to Ms. Russell
