Maths Week 2016

Maths week has come and gone once again! This year each class completed a problem of the day every day. The teachers and children had lots of fun trying to work through some very tricky problems. A new competition was rolled out this Maths Week. Maths Eyes is encouraging children to look for maths in the world around them. Lots of boys and girls in our school looked for maths around them and took a photo. These photos were shared with the school and a winner was chosen. All the photos were BRILLIANT! They really got us all thinking mathematically!

Parent – Teacher Meetings 2016

Parent-Teacher Meetings will take place in November this year. This will give teachers and parents the opportunity  to meet early on in the year to discuss any concerns/ ideas that they may wish to bring to the attention of the teacher. The dates chosen are Monday 21st November and Wednesday 23rd  November. We will be in contact in the coming weeks to notify people of their times/dates so that sufficient notice is given to organise your diaries. We look forward to meeting you on the day. In the meantime, should any issue arise, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Working together as a partnership is the key to your child’s success at school.
