Today belongs to 5th and 6th class!!What a fantastic morning with every child completing the almost 6km loop!! We are so proud of you all. When we have a total raised, we will share it with you. Congrats to Ravindra who crossed the finish line first! Huge thanks to Mr Breen and all the staff who participated and helped, to the parents who stewarded, ran/walked, prepared/donated refreshments. Confirmed case 28/11/2021
We have been advised of a confirmed case of COVID-19 in our school. The HSE has advised that no action is required with a single case. No contact tracing will take place in this instance. We ask that you continue to be vigilant with your children and symptoms and keep them at home if they are unwell. Children presenting with symptoms in school will be sent home. It is essential that we work together to limit any spread. We wish a speedy return to full health to the individual concerned.

Super Healthy Friday!
The Student Council and Active Flag Committee of Scoil Ghormáin Naofa, Castletown, worked collaboratively to create a Super Healthy Day last Friday. The day kicked off with children arriving with their helmets and scooters to enjoy fun movement breaks throughout the day. There was great excitement with children zooming around the school yard! The Student Council distributed a range of healthy breakfasts to each classroom. All of the produce was donated by local companies and shops. Salt Rock Dairy from Tara Hill provided delicious creamy milk and Staffords Bakery delivered multiple packs of their tasty brown soda bread. Student council member Ellen made healthy granola bars and Nutorious Nutrition donated … Continue reading
