STEM AWARD!
We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded our STEM award yet again, qulaifying for the top category – the plaque! Huge thanks to Ms. Whittle for coordinating and to the staff and students for their enthusiasm. Here is the wonderful feedback we received: Congratulations to all at Scoil Ghormáin Naofa on the fantastic range of STEM work going on across the whole school. Local Biodiversity at the Ahare River
We had a hugely interesting and informative morning with Jarlaith and Rory of @InlandFisherIE. Thanks to our friend Cathy Lee for coordinating. Our students had a ball at this interactive workshop. Who knew what biodiversity was living so close to our school? 31/05/2022

Amber Flag Renewal

Croghan Hike

Aodán caught the ace!!
Friday 06/05/22 After a number of weeks of the ace of spades eluding our Split the Pot winners, Aodán won!! We are so thrilled for him – he won just under €1500 in total! He has lots of holiday plans apparently! Thanks to our wonderful PA for all their hard work! Click on the link above – the excitement is palpable!!

Community Pollination
We were delighted to be asked to help out with the local pollination project courtesy of Cathy Lee. Our new Ukrainian pupils brought their friends along with them for this lovely interactive project, involving SESE, PE and SPHE. We hope that lots of bees will visit this newly designated area and we were delighted to be involved!

LOCAL HERO LIAM COLEMAN
We were delighted to welcome Local Hero Liam Coleman who plays for local club and for County Wexford to school today. Liam answered questions and taught the children some new games. It was a most inspiring visit and we are very grateful to Liam! We wish him continued success! Click the link for video!
