When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! We have certainly turned necessary outdoor movement breaks into something our children really look forward to. Today, 6th class are working on our outdoor classroom. This is so good for mental well being and contentment. Well done all!  For those working from home this week,  the link here is an excellent resource. It is a STEM booklet with curriculum activities grouped into class levels. Huge thanks to Darragh and Niall’s mum Kathleen who put this slide show together for us. Kathleen works in the HSE so is well placed to give us this advice. It is a lovely child friendly presentation and may help children to understand Covid 19 and indeed testing for their age COVID 19 for Castletown

We are delighted to show you the bones of our outdoor classroom! Now if we could have some fine weather! We will be hanging a blackboard and adding other items to enhance it.  Staff will be painting it later also. We have received some very kind messages offering support, we are most grateful. We may look for help with hanging/nailing items as time goes on. The children are so excited about this project! We will keep you posted!
