Wow – what a week we had performing in various competitions at Arklow Music Festival. Each class entered and I was immensely proud of all their performances!
A special word of congratulations must go to Mr. Breen and Ms. ní Shuileabháin who won first prize for their rendition of ‘There’s a Monster in the Garden’, by David Harmer.

Ms. Carroll (1st and 2nd class) – Very Highly Commended in Action Song
Mr. Breen and Ms. ní Shuilleabháin (3rd and 4th class) – 1st Place in Action Poem

Congratulations to Ms. D’Arcy whose Speech and Language students did so well!!
While it is fantastic to win, we also remember that taking part and being good sports is just as important! We will have the memory of facepaint, costumes, rehearsal and team work with us all our lives.
