Uniform Survey Results
Dear Parents/Guardians, Following our school survey this year and in consultation with the Parents Association, it has been decided by the Uniform Committee and school management to introduce a change to our school uniform. The survey, completed by the school community, indicated that 63% of respondents were somewhat dissatisfied with the current uniform. A combination of a non-formal and formal uniform emerged as the most desirable option. Countdown to First ever Active Week at Scoil Ghormáin Naofa!
The countdown is on to the first ever Active Week at Scoil Ghormáin Naofa as we journey towards becoming a recognised Active school in the future. There is a wonderful timetable of events organised and we hope that some family and friends can join us for some of the activities along the way. We would like you to join us on some of the following: 9am every morning: 10 minute ‘Wake up and shake up’. A teacher will lead this 1o minute activity each morning. Eason’s Spelling Bee
Congratulations to David Byrne who represented Scoil Ghormáin Naofa proudly in the County Final of the Eason’s Spelling Bee competition. Having been crowned the first ever Spelling Bee at Scoil Ghormáin Naofa, David, travelled to Loreto in Gorey for the County Final. This saw over 30 schools from Wexford take part in what could only be described as a tense and exciting day. Congratulations to David!

Welcome back to Term 3!
Welcome back to Scoil Ghormáin Naofa for our final term! This will be an exciting term with lots to look forward to. There are the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation that will be big events for the boys and girls and families of 2nd, 5th and 6th class. 6th class will begin their very last term of primary school and be prepared to make the transition to the next stage in their education. Junior infants will complete their first ever year at ‘big’ school. There will be the Sports day , school tours, Active Week, Rackard league, and much much more!
