Farm Safety field trip
3rd and 4th class really enjoyed their visit to Carnew Mart today where they learned about farm safety and enjoyed a tour of the mart. They were treated to nuggets and chips and a goodie bag! A great day all round!
Senior STEAM!
5th and 6th class participate in a STEAM Climate Action programme each week until Christmas. They are loving the hands on activities! About STEAM climate action in a box: 5-lesson hands-on introduction to the diverse fields of Climate Action. Using arts, communication and active citizenship we engage the children in understanding the part they can and do play and in contributing their ideas towards a greener future. Fun, hands-on, creative and participatory – designed to support and engage primary schools in positive Climate Action.
6th class hoodies!
Don’t 6th class look great in their new hoodies? Many thanks to our super PA for organising and funding these, thanks also to Carmel for sizing. With the senior hoodie comes senior responsibility and we look forward to them standing out as seniors in their hoodies and supporting staff and pupils in a mature manner in any way that they can. Wear them well!
SANTA DASH 2022
5th and 6th class, under the coordination of Mr Breen, will be taking on their Santa Dash this Friday. We are very proud of them! They have been training hard and all their sponsorship will go to the local Ukrainian hub who have provided lots of support to our Ukrainian friends. Well done to the very talented artists who designed the sponsorship cards this year!
Festive Fridays!
We love this time of year! This Friday kicks off our annual PA fundraiser ‘Festive Fridays’. Children may wear Christmas/winter jumpers to participate. Please don’t go to expense, the same top can be worn each Friday or your child might even like to decorate an old top with some decorations! Thank you for your support!

All children sang in the school choir. There were reflections and we were treated … Continue reading
