Lucky senior infants and 1st class had great fun learning with Carmel this week as they sewed peas and cornflower seeds! They love the feel of soil in their hands and are looking forward to seeing them grow!
Some lovely samples of English and SESE research. We love to see pupils taking pride in their written work. I especially love the novel copy work I am seeing. 3rd/4th are enjoying reading When Jessie Came Across The Sea – thank you Gorey library for the bulk loan.

How lucky are we!? A recent kind donation has enabled us to purchase this fantastic equipment for our yard! We just love our movement breaks and playtimes!
Our Active Leaders are doing wonderful work on yard. Structured games and activities will help to boost fitness and also create opportunities for inclusion on yard. Thank you Ms. D’Arcy and team. It is super to see leadership in our pupils.
On Friday, we spoke about some recent amazing achievements of Irish women in sport including those of Rachael Blackmore, Rhasidat Adeleke and Leona Maguire. We continue to promote equality for all our pupils and also the respect for one another in sport and the wider world. This might be a nice conversation to have over dinner
Huge thanks to Garda Ronan from Gorey Garda Station who came out to talk to our pupils about the dangers if being online. Older classes learned about the responsibility that goes with being online.
