So much activity today, our heads are spinning!!
We had a super morning with Tag Rugby with Daisy Earle of Gorey RFC. Daisy kindly spoke to our students today about her Leinster and Ireland career. This was really inspiring for our young female athletes and made us consider equality in sport. We want to see lots more recognition for female achievement!
We then had fitness training with Cormac Byrne and Conall from Bluefitness. They certainly put all the classes through their paces but it was so much fun!! We are so grateful to the guys for their time, patience and enthusiasm with all of our students.
At lunch time we had penalty shootouts with 2nd/3rd class who were brilliantly accurate!!
This afternoon we had a VERY competitive rounders game between 6th class and the staff. A certain male teacher (not mentioning any names!!) received a red card!
